Attend the Meaningful Membership Classes
The first step in pursuing membership at High Pointe is to attend the Membership class offered from 9:00 to 9:45 am Sunday mornings. You do not need to take these in order. Before scheduling a membership interview with an elder, you will need to have attended all four membership classes:
- Why Join a Church?
- What does High Pointe Believe?
- What You Need To Know About High Pointe
- What Do We Expect of Church Members?
One-Day Meaningful Membership Class
For those who have a remaining class or if you'd like to knock out all the membership classes at once, we will offer a one-day class on Saturday, July 15 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Schedule a Membership Interview
After you have attended the Membership Class, a meeting with a few of the elders will be scheduled. This meeting allows the elders to get to know you and gives you the opportunity to ask further questions about High Pointe Baptist Church in an informal setting.
The final step in our membership process involves the elders recommending you for membership to the congregation. As we are congregationally-ruled, the church will then vote to affirm you as a new member into our church family during a members' meeting.
If you would like to know more about our membership process or schedule an interview with one of our elders, please contact Colby Wilkins.
