About Life Classes

More About these Classes
Daniel (Bible, History, & Theology Track) - Location: Fellowship Hall
How do we remain faithful as God's people in a world that rejects him? How can we live courageously and confidently under God's rule when the world around us rebels against his rule? This summer we will explore these pressing questions by looking at the book of Daniel--a book that teaches us though earthly kings and kingdoms fade, God brings his peace and salvation through his King and Kingdom. All are welcome to join!
Just Do Something (Discipleship Track) - Location: Pastor's Reception Room
For 7th-8th Graders
We will spend these 8 weeks "finding God's will." This class will be adapted from Kevin DeYoung's book, Just Do Something: A Liberating Approach to Finding God's Will. How are we to understand God's will in our everyday decision making? This is the question this class will set out to answer. We welcome all 7th and 8th graders to attend!
Proverbs: The Way of the Wise - Location: E. Training Room
For K - 6th Graders
Proverbs is a book of great advice...and it includes an ominous warning. The advice is to pursue wisdom. The warning is to avoid folly, because foolishness leads to destruction. However, wisdom must be pursued—it takes effort, discipline, a teachable heart and instruction. This curriculum from Children Desiring God uses the book of Proverbs and other Bible passages to contrast the way of the foolish with the way of the wise.
