Regional fellowships

October 29, 2017 | 5:00 pm

While preaching must remain central to the life and ministry of a local church, preaching is not enough. As Christians, we need to live in gospel community throughout the rest of the week where we are able to speak the truth of the gospel in love to one another as applied from the preaching and our daily study of the Bible. For this to occur, all of our members need to live in gospel community.

There are many hurdles to gospel community; perhaps, the most significant in Austin is geography. Therefore, the elders want to help you connect with other High Pointe members who live close to you. So, on fifth Sundays, we will host fellowship gatherings of the members of High Pointe Baptist Church according to geographical regions: N/NE Austin; Pflugerville/Wells Branch; Round Rock/Georgetown/Hutto; Manor/Elgin/Bastrop; South Austin. See below where people will be gathering in your area. Visitors are welcome!

Regional Fellowship Locations

  • North Austin - High Pointe Baptist Church (12030 Dessau RoadAustin, TX 78754)
  • South Austin - Bill & Toni Fox’s Home (See Membership Directory)
  • Pflugerville / Wells Branch - Black Hawk Amenity Center (3111 Speidel Dr, Pflugerville, TX 78660)
  • Round Rock / Georgetown / Hutto - Brightwater Park (Round Rock, TX 78681)
  • Manor / Elgin / Bastrop - Juan & Jeanine Sanchez' Home (See Membership Directory)

Note: If you don't have a membership directory, see an elder for more details.

We will all gather by region to fellowship over light snacks, fun, music and a brief devotional. Please begin praying for the next regional fellowship, and make every effort to join us. We pray that all of you will begin making lasting relationships that will encourage you in your Christian walk.
