SUNDAYS EVENINGS @ 5:00PM

(2ND & 4TH EACH MONTH)

Here at High Pointe, we exist to glorify God by making wholehearted followers of Jesus among all peoples.

Our Sunday gatherings center on the Bible through singing, reading, praying, teaching, and celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.

We’re a diverse family united by our faith in Jesus Christ. Visitors, please dress comfortably and stay a few minutes after the service to visit our Connection Center.

  • We gather at the following times:

    • 9:00 am - Life Class (or Sunday School)

    • 10:00 am - Gathered Corporate Worship

    • 5:00 pm - Prayer Service (Gathering on the 2nd & 4th Sunday)

  • Yes, we do. If it is your first time visiting, please print and complete the form below and bring it with you the first time you drop your child(ren) off in the nursery. The nursery is for babies through pre-kindergarten. Kinder through 5th grade attend KidsPointe (see below) during morning worship.

    NURSERY REGISTRATION FORM

  • We have reserved some convenient parking spaces for guests. Enter the driveway from Dessau Road and take a left into the parking lot. If you require handicap-accessible parking, follow the parking lot around to the right. If you prefer to drop off your passengers before parking, please keep right as you enter the parking area and proceed to the covered drop-off at the front doors.

  • Our worship services are pretty casual. Some people dress up a bit, while many others simply wear jeans and a t-shirt. We believe that God cares much more about the condition of our hearts than our outward appearance. If you join us for a service, please feel free to dress however you feel comfortable.

  • Yes, we offer Spanish translation during our morning services. Visit our Connection Center on Sunday to learn more.

WHAT DO WE EMPHASIZE?

  • GOD–WARD IN FOCUS

We gather for the purpose of worshipping the one and only God—our Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, and Friend. Consequently, nearly everything we do is focused on acknowledging and celebrating His greatness—especially His gracious display of love to us in the gospel. He alone is the Audience for whom we perform.

  • CONGREGATIONAL IN ORIENTATION

We gather for the purpose of worshipping corporately—just as God Himself desires. This is why our prayers, confessions, and singing are most frequently offered to Him in the first person plural: “Our Father . . . We believe . . . We confess . . .”

  • PASSIONATE IN EXPRESSION

We gather for the purpose of worshipping passionately, actively engaging our intellect, emotions, and body. Moreover, given the life‐transforming implications of the gospel, joy is the primary quality that distinguishes our congregational praise.

  • GOSPEL IN STRUCTURE

We gather for the purpose of worshipping in a manner that rehearses the gospel, employing a format shaped by the contours of Christ’s redeeming work. Since worship is our response to His loving provision, nothing is more honoring of His grace than making its themes our own.

  • CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY IN STYLE

We gather for the purpose of worshipping with a style that is both classical and contemporary. We borrow from the church’s worship in the past—employing ancient creeds, historic confessions, and time‐honored music—while affirming our own distinct culture. Our worship is an indigenous and contemporary expression of our ancient faith.

  • BIBLICAL IN BOUNDARY

We gather for the purpose of worshipping “by the book,” putting to use various components of worship found in the Scriptures. These principal elements include: prayer, singing, reading and preaching the Bible, the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and the giving of offerings.
