LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups (LGs) exist to provide a relational context in which High Pointe members can help one another to follow Christ. LGs are small groups of High Pointe members (and those in the membership process) who have committed themselves to regularly meet together for the purpose of discipleship.
The reason LGs exist is to facilitate discipling relationships among church members, in which they are actively involved in helping one another toward Christlikeness (Hebrews 3:12-13; cf. 10:24-25). One way we could sum up the goal of LGs is with the phrase “relational discipleship.” LGs are meant to provide a context where discipling relationships can form and where members can help each other along the path of Christian maturity. Also, LGs can provide concrete avenues for church members to fulfill the ‘one another’ commands of Scripture.
