Gather with Us this Sunday PLUS: Two Baptisms

In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, . . . ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. (Colossians 2:11-12)
It was a joy to gather together this past Sunday for the first time since March 8th. To be sure, it wasn’t the same because we were not all able to gather as one. Still, it was a sweet reminder of the joy of the Lord that is our strength and the fellowship of the Spirit that is our bond.

Once again, we want to emphasize that if you’re not comfortable meeting in a large public gathering, it is OK! You need not feel any pressure to gather with us until you are comfortable and able. We will continue to offer a livestream of the service for you at 10:00 am. Our hope is that by the end of June, we will be able to provide the lyrics on your screen so that you may sing along with us who are gathered in the building. Since we won't be seeing you on Sundays, please let us know how we may care for you during this time. You may contact us at or 512-837-7725 (church office: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
If you are able, comfortable, and willing, we welcome you to join us this Lord’s Day, June 14th. Due to social distancing recommendations, we will continue to hold two identical services at 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. You may register for either service HERE.

This Sunday, we will continue in our Psalms series with Psalm 103. Let me encourage you to read it each day until Sunday. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in understanding it. Lord willing, when we’re together, we will bask in the glorious truth of God’s grace and forgiveness.

Additionally, we anticipate celebrating two baptisms. DeAndre Ross will be baptized during the morning service, and Lucy Harper will be baptized during the evening service. We look forward to celebrating baptism this Sunday and receiving DeAndre and Lucy into our membership. Look for their baptism testimonies in our Thursday email, which will contain worship resources to help you prepare for our Lord’s Day gathering.

On behalf of your elders, High Pointe, it is a joy to serve you. We look forward to seeing many of your faces this Sunday. Until then, may our Lord continue to sustain and strengthen us for his glory and for our good.

NOTE: During Phase TWO we will not offer nursery, children’s ministries, or Life Classes. Life Groups that would like to meet in person will determine that on their own and will need to select a meeting time other than Sunday evenings.
