Summer Preaching Series: Celebrating God’s Work through High Pointe July 7 – August 4, 2024
Every summer, we have the privilege of hearing the same gospel from different voices. This year, we have a special blessing. We have invited several men we have deployed to ministry from High Pointe. The purpose of the 2024 summer preaching series is to remember how God has worked in and through your generosity for the sake of Christ and to celebrate the gospel's advancement through those the Lord has allowed us to deploy from High Pointe.
This week we have the privilege of welcoming Ben Wright, lead pastor of Cedar Pointe Baptist Church in Cedar Park. Ben served on our staff as an associate pastor. You will be blessed to hear Ben preach. I tell him at every opportunity that he is my favorite preacher.

If you’re interested in learning more about High Pointe or pursuing membership with High Pointe, please mark your calendars for our One-Day Membership Class happening on July 13 from 9 AM to 12 PM. This class will cover three main questions: What is the church and why should I join, what does High Pointe believe, and what do we expect of church members at High Pointe. You can register for the class online here. If you know of someone who has been visiting High Pointe and would be interested in learning more, invite them to come to the one-day class.
Life Classes and KidsPointe are Taking a Summer Break
Moms and dads take advantage of this break to worship together as a family. You can pack crayon or pencil packets for your children and pick up sermon notes from the front foyer each Sunday. The summer is a great time to train your children to actively listen and discuss the sermons with you. If you are interested in resources to help your children stay attentive and pay attention during the sermon, please check out these resources:
Women and Kids Clothing and Accessories Closet | July 13 and July 14
Mark your calendars as there is a FREE clothing closet planned for women happening in the fellowship hall on July 13 from 1-4 PM and July 14 after the morning service. All women are welcome to participate in the event regardless of if you donated items. You can still continue to bring items to donate for the clothing closet.
This event needs volunteers to help sort and organize Friday July 12 starting at 6:00PM and takedown Sunday after the event starting at 2:00PM. Your help is greatly appreciated! Please contact Brenda Hernandez or Grace Francisco if you have questions, and please sign up here to help volunteer!
T2G (Titus 2 groups) starting again in September - Sign up NOW
T2G will start up again in September. But now is the time to sign up! T2G is a discipleship ministry offering gender-specific, intergenerational community among the women of High Pointe. Each group consists of one or two “older” women meeting together with 4-6 “younger” women. The groups meet once a month to encourage women in their faith and to promote deeper relationships among the different generations of women in the church. Each leader has chosen a book that the group will read together over the course of the year (September through May). Please consider joining us for the year ahead.
For more information, please contact Mary Delk at 763-442-0919 or at marybethdelk@gmail.com. We encourage every one of our young women to be involved in T2G and we will help you find a group that works well for you.

Gospel Partner of the Month: Middle East Ministry
It is our joy to support one of our High Pointe families serving in the Middle East. We will not refer to them by name to protect their identity and location, but you may pray for them as you work through our membership directory.
Please pray that the Lord will give them favor and fruitfulness in their work. Pray that the Lord may send a like-minded and similar life-stage family (or two) to serve alongside them. And pray that we would care for and encourage them well.
