Praying for the Middle East

This Thursday, March 23, Jack Delk and Christopher Parker are scheduled to travel to the Middle East to be with, strengthen, and encourage one of our missionary families.

• Pray for their safe travel there and back (23 March – 2 April).
• Pray they would be safe and stay healthy.
• Pray that the Lord may allow them opportunities to display Christ and share the gospel.
• Pray that they would find ways to encourage and strengthen our missionaries.
• Pray for the people of the land that even while they observe Ramadan, they will be open to the gospel.

Engaging Our Neighbors, Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 am to Noon
Join us Saturday, April 8 in the foyer at 10:00 am. With Easter around the corner, we will be going through the Pioneer Crossing neighborhood to pray, knock on doors, and hand out invitations to our Good Friday and Easter services. The more members we have, the more ground we can cover. We look forward to seeing you there. Please be praying already for a fruitful time.

Good Friday & Easter at High Pointe
This year, Good Friday falls on April 7, and Easter Sunday on April 9. Most of you will join us on those days. Please pray and think about an unbelieving, unchurched person you may invite. Most people are open to an invitation to church, especially during Easter (and Christmas). So, take advantage of their openness and offer the invitation.

Pray with us as we seek to engage our neighbors and friends with the gospel.

On-Call Pastor
To better care for you, High Pointe, we have an “on-call” pastor available for emergencies after office hours and on weekends. To reach the on-call pastor, call 512-837-7725, extension 1.

Preaching Schedule: Pray regularly for the ministry of the Word at High Pointe. Also, prepare for our gatherings by reading the sermon text, thinking it through, and asking questions about the text before Sunday. Here is a preaching schedule designed to help you prepare for Sundays:
