Sunday Evening Prayer Gatherings 2nd and 4th Sundays at 5:00 pm Beginning in March

I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf… (Romans 15:30)

Over this last year, one of the things I’ve missed the most about our life together as a church has been our Sunday night prayer gatherings. That’s our High Pointe “family” time. It’s when we hear about marital engagements, parents who are expecting, and the newly married. It’s when we interview elders and deacons to learn about them, their family, and their ministry. It’s when we hear from and about our strategic gospel partners and the work they are doing. It’s when we hear about evangelistic opportunities our Lord has given each of us. It’s when we hear from and about different segments of our church: children, youth, senior adults, singles, marrieds. It’s when we hear about the various ministries of the church. And, most importantly, it’s when we pray about all that we hear.

Due to Covid, we’ve paused our Sunday evening prayer gatherings. Consequently, it’s no surprise if some of our members have felt disconnected. It’s hard to know what’s going on in the life of the church and in one another’s lives when we don’t spend this family time together. For this reason, the elders have agreed to resume meeting on Sunday nights, beginning this month. We pray you’ll be able to join us and begin feeling connected once again and encouraged by testimonies of how the Lord is working among us. Allow me to remind us of our Lord’s Day meeting schedule as of this month.

Sundays at High Pointe

9:00 am | Life Classes
10:00 am | Regular Gathering
5:00 pm | Sunday Evening Prayer Gathering (2nd & 4th Sundays)
Life Groups (1st, 3rd, & 5th Sundays)

We understand if you’re not quite ready to gather with us. Know we are praying for you and want to know how to best care for you. We pray you’ll feel comfortable gathering with us soon.

For those of you who are able to gather with us, let me encourage you to do so. I pray you will gather with us this coming Lord’s Day.

Love,

Pastor Juan
