Engaging Our Neighbors (And Friends, Family, Coworkers, and Colleagues) With the Gospel
Engaging Our Neighbors | THIS Saturday, September 10 | 10:00 AM
Did you know that YOU are the evangelism ministry at High Pointe? Yes! One of our aims at High Pointe is to make evangelism normal. When evangelism is special, it requires special people to use special materials during special occasions.
Instead, we would rather equip YOU to understand and share the gospel with your unbelieving neighbors, friends, family, colleagues, and classmates. Imagine if EVERY member were having regular gospel conversations with unbelievers. That is our aim.
Still, there are times when it is helpful to organize times to share the gospel as a church. These times can encourage those who are especially shy about speaking with unbelievers about Jesus. They help because you are going out in a group. Also, you get to share with other members of High Pointe immediately about your opportunities. So, whether you want to grow in your evangelism or just serve our neighbors by sharing the gospel, join us THIS Saturday at 10:00 am in the front foyer of our building. At that time, you will receive instructions, then pray, and go. Join us as we seek to bless our community with the good news of Jesus.
Other Evangelism Opportunities
Tom McLaughlin and Francisco Nieves, two High Pointe members, also gather regularly to share the gospel. Below is their schedule. Feel free to join them or give them a call if you have any questions:

Upcoming Sermon – Esther 2:1-18
We’re back in Esther this week, Lord willing. We will work through the first 18 verses of chapter 2. Please begin reading and praying through the text in preparation for our Lord’s Day gathering.
Reading Clue: As you read, look for key words that are repeated and ask – What significance can we attribute to the fact that these words are repeated?
