ENGAGE OUR NEIGHBORS This Saturday | December 3, 2022 10:00 AM

As we approach the Christmas season, unchurched persons are generally more open to gospel conversations and invitations to church. This Saturday, we will meet for one last time in 2022 to go to our neighbors, introduce ourselves, pray for them, and share the gospel as the Lord permits.

With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services, we have printed invite cards that will make it easy for you to invite your unchurched family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and classmates. We will be handing out these invite cards on Saturday. But the invites will also be available in the foyer for you to hand out for the next couple of weeks.

Would you pray now that the Lord would give you the opportunity and the courage to share the invite cards with the unchurched people in your life? May the Lord grant us much grace, and may we be a blessing to those who presently do not worship Jesus of Nazareth, who was born in Bethlehem, and grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man, then went to the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. This Jesus is now the risen savior and the only hope for sinners. This is the Jesus we celebrate this Christmas.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions
Each December we give you the opportunity to give above and beyond your regular giving by supporting the spread of the gospel to the nations through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. When we give to the LMCO  we’re supporting missionaries throughout the world who are working to fulfill the great commission. One hundred percent of this offering goes directly to resource international missionaries on the field.

If you want to give to Lottie Moon this year, you simply notate “Lottie Moon” somewhere on your check or envelope. Then place your gift in one of the offering boxes in the auditorium. You can also give to the LMCO online at highpointeaustin.org/give or through the HPBC App.

Our offering goal this year is $35,000. Would you pray and consider what the Lord would allow you to give to support the spread of the gospel to the nations through this year’s LCMO. If you are interested in learning more about Lottie Moon, you can read about her life here: www.imb.org/about/lottie-moon/.
